TLC Intermediate Course

Training Leaders of Cadets (TLC) is the premiere venue for Cadet Programs Officers to learn how to become better mentors of cadets and more effective managers of cadet squadrons.
This intermediate course is intended to "weapon up" existing Cadet Programs Officers who have already completed the TLC Basic Course and are ready to take the next step in their training.
How do I attend?
This class has been broken into two 4-hour sessions, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, making it easier for everyone to sit in front of their computers.
We will be using a secured Zoom meeting, provided by Wing Headquarters, for this course. Sign-in will start at 8:30am each day of the class. Technical support will be available to help you log on if needed. Class begins at 9:00am.
You must have a computer with a webcam for this course. "Phoning in" is not permitted. We must be able to see your smiling faces and confirm that you are fully participating in the course.
How do I apply?
TLC is for Adult Members only. Cadets may not attend.
To register, email the following information to tlcregistration@gawg.cap.gov:
- Rank, First and Last Name
- CAPID Number
- Squadron Name and Charter Number
- Phone Number
Hurry and sign up! There are only 20 slots for this class. Registration will close on August 14th, and no last-minute registrations will be accepted due to the security information that we must send individually to each student.
What homework is there before the course starts?
Good news! With this course there is no pre-required homework except for an interview sheet that you'll receive after you sign up. This interview sheet will be due on August 14th. You will need to download your own student documents before you sign into the class, though. The link to these documents will also be emailed to you when you register.
