Cadet Staff Application Instructions

CADET COMMAND STAFF APPLICATIONS: We are accepting applications for Cadet Command Staff ONLY at this time. The available staff positions are:

· Cadet Commander: Required Rank on July 1, 2025 (Cadet Major - Cadet Colonel)

· Deputy Commander of Operations: Required Rank on July 1, 2025 (Cadet Captain - Cadet Colonel)

· Deputy Commander of Support: Required Rank on July 1, 2025 (Cadet Captain - Cadet Colonel)

· Encampment First Sgt: Required Rank July 1 - July 19, 2025 (Cadet Chief Master Sgt)

*You do not need to be the required minimum grade for the position when applying, but you must reach the grade by encampment.*

All applications are due at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Oct 21, 2024.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING:

Squadron Commander signatures are required to apply. Parent/Guardian signatures are also required (under 18 years of age).

Cadets:

Please submit your completed:

• CAP Resume

• Letter of Interest: Describe why you are interested in the role and explain what makes you the best candidate for the position. It should also list all three positions in preferential order (except Encampment First Sgt).

• Endorsement Letter from Your Immediate Commander (Unit): This letter should confirm your suitability and recommend you as an applicant for this leadership opportunity.

• Completed and signed (parent and commander) CAPF 60-81

At this time, we are only requesting applications for the positions listed above. Please do not apply for positions not on the list. Before encampment, applicants will need to complete Basic Risk Management and ICUT.
