Overview
Georgia Wing STEM Weekend May 4-5 2024. It will be held at the WW Mann Retreat Center located at 2171 Prather Rd., Statesboro, GA 30461. Lodging is available for Friday evening.

Purpose
The purpose of the STEM weekend is to promote STEM education and to give 12 hours of STEM instruction to cadets to meet the requirements for either the Basic or Intermediate STEM badge. Once the weekend is over, if the cadet has submitted their dossier, they will receive the STEM badge in the closing ceremony.

Registration
Registration for the event weekend will be through the Registration Zone in eServices. There is a Google Form that needs to be filled out and submitted along with the registration. The fee is $35. Registration for this event will close on March 31, 2024. Commander approval is needed.

Check-In
The event starts at 8 a.m., Saturday, May 4 and ends at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 5.

Lodging and Meals
Lodging will be at the WW Mann Retreat Center in cabins. The cabins have A/C and heat. Bunk beds are provided. Please bring sheets, blankets, pillow, towels, and other toiletry items. Additional lodging will be available on Friday night, May 3 by request only (email the below to request these accommodations). Meals will be provided for Saturday lunch and supper and Sunday breakfast and lunch only. If you have any special dietary needs, please list those on the Google Form.

Uniform of the Day

UOD will be ABUs. Senior members can wear ABUs, Blue Corporate uniform, or Polos with grey pants. You must have your CAP ID, CAPF 60-80, 161, and 163.
