The CAP Information Technology directorate oversees the implementation of IT services wing-wide and provides assistance for all wing units with CAP-assigned IT assets such as laptops and PCs, wing-provided applications and support for the SDIS equipment.

The IT Division also manages Wing HQ and unit web space and servers, providing support and guidance for the developement and maintenance of web pages and applications.

CAP National Headquarters realizes the importance of information technology assets in supporting CAP's three missions. As a result, they have produced a new specialty track for the Information Technology Officer (ITO), which can be found on the eServices website under pamphlets as CAPP227. The position of unit ITO will become increasingly important to the support of the Georgia Wing as the ITO will be the first point of contact for squadrons needing help and assistance with computers and IT resources.
