  The SAREX this weekend in St. Simons Island was great. Another unqualified success. The "ground" team at St. Simons did a supurb job, as usual, and the Squadron was able to complete all flight training requirements on all of the aircrew that showed up. We do not yet have funding for next fiscal year (starts October 1st), but the Group has already requested funding for SAREXs on October 24th, December 5th, and January 23rd. Keep your days open and plan on attending. We are also inthe early stages of planning a Cadet camp out in conjunction with the October SAREX. Details are still sketchy, but we should have it firmed up in a few weeks. Again, keep your calendars open and plan on attending one of these great exercises! |
